ABOUT ME

My interest in photography began at the ripe old age of 5.  This is when my father who was a photography professor and commercial photographer gave both my sister and I our first camera, a Diana camera!

I grew up in a photo family.  My whole life I had access to a full photo studio and a black & white darkroom.  I began assisting and shooting my first weddings in  my late teens.  I then went on to attend the Corcoran College of Art+Design and received my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography.  During my summers off from college I continued to shoot weddings and traveled the country assisting on commercial shoots.  Once I graduated I began my freelance career.  Landed a few big shoots and cover shots.

After a few years shooting freelance photography I went out on a limb and up rooted my career to move to Hawaii.  The beauty of the islands inspired me.  After a few years of shooting the awe inspiring landscapes on the islands and working at an art gallery I moved back to the mainland.

And here we are now.  I'm a full-time professional photographer in the Baltimore\Washington area doing shoots around the country.  I currently mange a team of 200 + photographers nationwide and average enough flights miles a year, on assignment, to have gone around the world several times.

I truly do love what I do!  I have a career in something I not only love but am passionate about and I get to see the country while doing it.
